1. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to all users of the Briso EcoTrade platform (briso-ecotrade.com). By registering an account, you agree to these terms. Use of the platform is restricted to registered businesses (B2B only).
2. Platform role — commission agent
Briso EcoTrade B.V. acts exclusively as a commission agent (commissionair, art. 7:414 BW). We intermediate between buyer and seller but are never a party to the underlying sale of goods. Title to materials transfers directly between seller and buyer.
Briso EcoTrade is not responsible for the quality, quantity, or delivery of materials. Responsibility rests with the selling and buying parties respectively.
3. Account obligations
- You must be a legally registered business in an EU/EEA member state, Switzerland, or the UK
- Company information must be accurate and kept up to date
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Account sharing is not permitted
4. Listings
- All listings must describe real, available materials
- A valid EURAL code is required for all listings
- Exactly 3 photos are required; no company logos or personal contact details in photos
- Listings expire after 30 days and can be extended
- Fraudulent or misleading listings result in immediate account suspension
5. Payments
- All payments are made upfront before delivery — no credit terms
- Payments are processed via Mollie (iDEAL, SEPA)
- Briso holds funds in a designated account until delivery is confirmed
- Seller payout is released within 2–3 working days after buyer confirms delivery
- Disputes must be reported within 5 working days of delivery
6. Prohibited conduct
- Circumventing the platform to trade directly (contact outside platform during active deal)
- Listing hazardous waste without proper notification procedures
- Using the platform for money laundering or illegal activities
- Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting company identity
- Attempting to scrape, attack or interfere with platform infrastructure
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
