Briso EcoTrade acts as a commission agent (Art. 7:425 Dutch Civil Code). A platform service fee is deducted from the deal value and paid by the seller. The fee is calculated on a sliding scale based on the price per tonne — the higher the price per tonne, the lower the percentage. The fee is always between min €10/tonne and max €50/tonne.
The exact fee for each deal is shown on the seller's payout statement.

Yes — Briso EcoTrade is available in all 27 EU member states, plus Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Listings, bids and transport assignments can be created in any of these countries.
Nobody until a deal is closed and payment is made. All listings are anonymous — buyers and sellers only see material details, quantity and price. Full company information (name, address, contact details) is only released by Briso EcoTrade after payment is confirmed.
Chat communication is monitored for policy compliance and sharing of contact details is blocked until that moment.

You can trade all common secondary raw materials and recyclables, including:
Paper & cardboard · Plastics (PET, HDPE, PP, PVC, LDPE) · Ferrous metals (steel, iron) · Non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminium, zinc, lead) · Glass · Wood · Rubber & tyres · Packaging · Automotive scrap · Industrial process waste · RDF / sorting residues
Not every material requires an EURAL waste code. Secondary raw materials and commodities (e.g. sorted paper, baled PET) may be listed without one. If you have a code, you can fill it in — it is required for cross-border waste shipments.

Yes. You can set a minimum order quantity per listing and sell in multiple partial transactions. However, once a first partial deal is closed on a listing, the remaining quantity must stay on the platform. Selling the remainder directly outside the platform is prohibited and subject to a contractual penalty per the Terms and Conditions (Art. 6).
Briso EcoTrade uses a ±5% weight tolerance system. Weighing takes place at the buyer's location on a certified weighbridge.
If the actual weight falls within 5% of the agreed quantity — no price adjustment is made. If the deviation exceeds 5%, the buyer must report this with a weighbridge receipt within 24 hours of delivery. Briso EcoTrade will then settle the difference.

Listings are active for 30 days from the date of posting. A countdown timer is visible on each listing. You will receive a notification before your listing expires. You can repost after expiry.

An EURAL code (European Waste Catalogue) is a 6-digit code identifying the type of waste. It is required for cross-border waste shipments under EVOA and for domestic NL shipments to registered processing facilities.
However — not all materials need an EURAL code. Secondary raw materials and commodities (e.g. sorted paper, baled PET, clean scrap metal) may be listed without one. If you have a code, fill it in — it helps buyers and ensures compliance. You can find codes at euralcodezoeken.nl.

The afvalstroomnummer is a 12-character number required for domestic transport of business waste in the Netherlands to a registered processing facility. It consists of the receiver's LMA processor number (5 digits) + a 7-digit sequence they assign.
The receiver (buyer) is responsible for generating and providing this number to the seller before transport. The number is entered on the begeleidingsbrief (transport document). The platform prompts the buyer to enter this number at deal step 2 for NL-NL deals.
