Transparent, tiered pricing. No subscription fees — you only pay when a deal closes.
Briso EcoTrade charges a commission on the material value of each completed deal. The commission is deducted from the buyer payment before payout to the seller. There are no listing fees, no monthly subscriptions and no hidden charges.
| Material value | Commission rate | Example (single truckload) |
|---|---|---|
| < €1,000 | 10% | €800 deal → €200 fee (min) |
| €1,000 – €2,499 | 8% | €2,000 deal → €200 fee (min) |
| €2,500 – €4,999 | 6% | €3,000 deal → €200 fee (min) |
| €5,000 – €9,999 | 5% | €7,500 deal → €375 fee |
| €10,000 – €19,999 | 4% | €15,000 deal → €600 fee |
| ≥ €20,000 | 3% | €33,333 deal → €1,000 fee (max for 1 truck) |
Commission is calculated on material value only (excluding transport for DAP deals). Minimum €200 per truckload · Maximum €1,000 per truckload. Both the floor and ceiling scale linearly with the number of trucks: a 4-truck deal has a floor of €800 and caps at €4,000; a 10-truck deal has a floor of €2,000 and caps at €10,000. One truckload typically holds 22–24 tonnes; the seller specifies the number of trucks at listing time and the buyer confirms it on the bid.
| Transport value | Platform fee | Example (single truckload) |
|---|---|---|
| < €500 | 8% | €300 transport → €35 fee (min) |
| €500 – €999 | 7% | €750 transport → €52.50 fee |
| €1,000 – €2,499 | 6% | €1,500 transport → €90 fee |
| €2,500 – €4,999 | 5% | €3,000 transport → €150 fee |
| ≥ €5,000 | 4% | €6,250 transport → €250 fee (max for 1 truck) |
For DAP deals the buyer sets the transport price per tonne at bid time. Briso finds a carrier within that budget and takes a small platform fee. Minimum €35 per truckload · Maximum €250 per truckload — same per-truck logic as the material commission (e.g. a 4-truck deal has a floor of €140 and caps at €1,000). For EXW deals the buyer arranges their own transport, so this fee does not apply.
The seller receives the material value minus the Briso material commission (see sliding scale above). For DAP deals, the transport portion is paid directly by Briso to the carrier — the seller never touches transport money. Payout is released within 2–3 working days after confirmed delivery via SEPA bank transfer.
Single-truck EXW example: Buyer bids €3,200 for 20 tonnes of HDPE at €160/t (1 truckload). Material commission: 6% × €3,200 = €192, floored to €200. Seller receives €3,000. Briso fee: €200.
Single-truck DAP example: Buyer bids 22t OCC at €130/t material + €28/t transport (DE → NL, 1 truckload). Material value €2,860 → 6% = €171.60, floored to €200. Transport value €616 → 7% = €43.12. Buyer pays €3,476. Seller receives €2,660. Available for carrier: €572.88.
Multi-truck DAP example: Buyer bids 110t mixed plastics at €450/t material + €25/t transport (5 truckloads). Material value €49,500 → 3% = €1,485 (between the €1,000 floor and €5,000 ceiling for 5 trucks). Transport value €2,750 → 5% = €137.50, floored to €175 (5 trucks × €35). Buyer pays €52,250. Seller receives €48,015. Available for carrier: €2,575.
For domestic NL deals, 21% VAT applies to the Briso commission. For cross-border EU deals, VAT is reverse-charged to the buyer at 0% (art. 138 EU VAT Directive). Both parties must have a valid EU VAT number for cross-border transactions.
